Below, you will find details about applying to one of DigiPen’s undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) programs. Be sure to choose the correct degree, as the requirements and additional materials (such as essays and portfolios) vary from program to program. Please contact our Office of Admissions if you need clarification on any of the application requirements.

No Fee November

We are currently waiving the $60 fee for admissions applications for Fall 2024 semester.

This application fee waiver applies to those who have started an application between November 1 and November 30, 2023. If you have applied but haven’t paid the fee yet, please contact us at admissions@digipen.edu with any questions about No Fee November.

Fall 2024 Priority Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for greater access to our first-come, first-served scholarships. Most applications are received by this date.

April 1, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2024 General Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date to receive an admission decision before our June 1 DigiPen Housing deadline. Only enrolled students may apply for housing.

July 1, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2024 Final Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for the remaining spots in our Fall 2024 incoming class. Your application and all materials must be submitted by this date.

  • Bachelor of Science (All)

    The requirements for all Bachelor of Science programs (currently including BS in Computer ScienceBS in Computer Science and Digital AudioBS in Computer Science and Game Design, BS in Computer Science in Machine Learning, and BS in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation) can be found here.

  • BA in Game Design

    The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design program includes a design portfolio requirement unique to the program, details of which can be found here.

  • BA in Music and Sound Design

    The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Design program requires the submission of a portfolio — part of which includes pre-recorded performances — details of which can be found here.

  • BFA in Digital Art and Animation

    The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Digital Art and Animation degree includes the submission of a portfolio of art produced by the applicant, the exact requirements of which can be found here.
