As a student, your academic, social, mental, and physical well-being is a high priority during your time with us. As such, DigiPen offers a number of services to help foster the best possible educational experience both in and out of the classroom. Current students can access the following services (as well as others not listed below) via the Student Portal.
Academic Advising and Tutoring
Students at DigiPen can get help with their studies in a variety of ways. Faculty Mentors and Student Success Advisors help to guide students through the entirety of their academic careers. Additionally, one-on-one tutoring and study groups are available throughout the year.
On any given day, the Bytes Cafe & Lounge and the Dragon Shop serve as the hub of campus life. Find more information about meals, supplies, and Dragon merchandise.
Study abroad and experience life at one of our three campuses worldwide. Students in good academic standing who have completed a year at their home campus may apply for one or two semesters.
DigiPen offers a wide range of career services designed to help students connect with industry professionals and secure rewarding job offers upon graduation. With events such as employer-hosted Company Days and resources like Handshake, students have ample opportunities to build their professional prospects while still attending school.
DigiPen’s Counseling Center offers short-term counseling services for students who may be having social, mental, or emotional difficulties. For immediate crises, we recommend students call 911 or the 24/7 Crisis Line at (866) 427-4747, or go to an emergency room.
DigiPen’s Disability Support Services (DSS) Office works to ensure that students with disabilities receive equal access to educational services and campus facilities. The DSS Office also works with faculty and staff to provide appropriate accommodations for students on a case-by-case basis.
Although DigiPen owns the intellectual property rights to the original game and animated film projects developed by students as part of their coursework, our IP policy offers a unique option to transfer rights to students and alumni who can then commercialize their work through real-world opportunities.
DigiPen’s Library gives students and faculty access to thousands of books, videos, board games, video games, and other media resources. In addition to academic support services, the library also provides career-related materials, A/V equipment, and more.
Students have access to on-campus parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, DigiPen offers a free shuttle service for students, faculty, and staff that connects campus to the Redmond Transit Center and off-campus housing facilities.
