Below, you will find details about applying to one of DigiPen’s graduate (master’s degree) programs. Be sure to choose the correct degree, as the requirements and additional materials (such as essays and portfolios) vary from program to program. Please contact our Office of Admissions if you need clarification on any of the application requirements. All admitted graduate students are considered for our Graduate Merit Scholarship.

Early Action I

 

Be among the first to apply! Submit your completed application by this date to receive a decision by mid-December and priority access to our first-come, first-served scholarships, such as our Merit and Dragon Opportunity Scholarships.

 

January 15, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Early Action II

 

Submit your completed application by this date to receive a decision by mid-February and priority consideration for our Dragon Opportunity Scholarship and other DigiPen scholarships. Most applications are received by this date.

 

March 1, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. PT

General Application Deadline

 

Submit your completed application by this date to receive an admissions decision before our June 1 DigiPen Housing deadline. Only admitted students may apply for housing.

 

July 1, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Final Application Deadline

 

Submit your completed application by this date for the remaining spots in our Fall 2026 incoming class. Your application and all materials must be submitted by this date.

  • MFA in Digital Arts

    Details for applying to the Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts degree program can be found here. Among other materials, the application requires the submission of an art portfolio demonstrating the applicant’s foundational artistic skills.

  • MS in Computer Science

    Detailed requirements to apply to the Master of Science in Computer Science degree can be found here. The program requires submission of your academic transcripts, among other materials. Optional materials include GRE scores and a statement of purpose.
