In this third-person action adventure, you play as the awakened guardian of a desert temple, which has been taken over by an evil force. Armed with a sword and the ability to dash teleport across short distances, you’ll need to fight your way through a series corrupted enemies and creatures hell-bent on ending your quest.

The art and design of Metamorphos was heavily inspired by Dark Souls, the 2011 action RPG developed by Japanese studio From Software. The game’s creators even likened their project to a game development “master study” — referring to a longstanding practice by which aspiring artists attempt to recreate historical masterworks in painting and drawing.
