One of the cornerstones of DigiPen’s unique approach to education is its hands-on team game projects. Students spend each year hard at work putting their education into practice by making a stunning array of original, playable video games with their peers — in a process designed to reflect the structure of real-world game development practices. To celebrate another year of amazing work, students and faculty gathered on April 19 for the DigiPen Game Showcase, an annual campus event some have taken to calling “DigiPen E3.”

“I have been teaching here for 15 years, and every single year, I see things I have never seen before,” said Ben Ellinger, Vice President of the Game Software Design and Production program, at this year’s ceremonies. “It’s fantastic to see.”

If you’re curious about the work our students have done over the course of 2019, you can watch the stream of this year’s showcase below. Enjoy!
