Below, you will find details about applying to one of DigiPen’s graduate (master’s degree) programs. Be sure to choose the correct degree, as the requirements and additional materials (such as essays and portfolios) vary from program to program. Please contact our Office of Admissions if you need clarification on any of the application requirements.

No Fee November

We are currently waiving the $60 fee for admissions applications for Fall 2024 semester.

This application fee waiver applies to those who have started an application between November 1 and November 30, 2023. If you have applied but haven’t paid the fee yet, please contact us at admissions@digipen.edu with any questions about No Fee November.

Fall 2024 Priority Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for greater access to our first-come, first-served scholarships. Most applications are received by this date.

April 1, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2024 General Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date to receive an admission decision before our June 1 DigiPen Housing deadline. Only enrolled students may apply for housing.

July 1, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2024 Final Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for the remaining spots in our Fall 2024 incoming class. Your application and all materials must be submitted by this date.

  • MFA in Digital Arts

    Details for applying to the Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts degree program can be found here. Among other materials, the application requires the submission of an art portfolio demonstrating the applicant’s foundational artistic skills.

  • MS in Computer Science

    Detailed requirements to apply to the Master of Science in Computer Science degree can be found here. The program requires your academic transcripts, GRE scores (optional), and a statement of purpose essay, among other materials.
