Join us at this year's PAX West convention in Seattle from August 30 – September 2. Our students and staff will be showcasing awesome games, handing out daily prizes, and answering any questions you have about DigiPen's educational programs in game design and development, computer science and engineering, digital art and animation, music and sound design, and more.
Play Games, Win Prizes
Stop by the DigiPen Arcade booth on the third floor of the Annex for games and prizes! We'll be exhibiting a selection of student-made games, from retro-style brawlers and shooters to immersive 3D adventures and more. By playing three games you can enter our daily raffles for a chance to win amazing prizes.
Thank you to each of the following sponsors who donated prizes for this year's DigiPen Arcade booth!
Big Fish Games
And a special thanks to all our DigiPen alumni donors!
If you're a DigiPen alum and plan to be at PAX West, we invite you and a guest to join us at our Alumni Reception, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on August 30 at the Tap House Grill, located at 1506 6th Ave.
Learn About DigiPen
After you've played some games at the DigiPen Arcade booth, you can also stop by the DigiPen outreach booth (#6002) in the Main Expo Hall to speak with our friendly admissions representatives. They can tell you even more about DigiPen's degree programs, admissions requirements, and student life. It's also a chance to grab some official DigiPen swag!
The DigiPen community always makes a strong showing both at PAX Dev and PAX West, and this year is no exception. Be sure to check out some of these events and panels featuring DigiPen students, alumni, and faculty.
On Monday, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., two DigiPen faculty will present "Bringing Magic Into the Classroom" in Hydra Theatre. Professors Jazno Francouer and Mark Henne, both longtime veterans of the animation industry who together share a combined 16 feature film credits at Pixar and Disney Animation studios, will each discuss how their industry experience has informed their teaching roles at DigiPen. It'll be a great chance to hear some behind-the-scenes stories about the making of classic Disney films, as well as get an inside look at DigiPen's Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degree programs.
