Housing Application

In order to complete a housing application and be placed you must:

  • Fill out the application
    • If you are an incoming student and need to apply for housing or review your current application, you may do so through the DigiPen Application System.
    • If you are a current student looking to apply for housing or review a past application, you may do so through the Student Records System (SRS).
  • Pay the $300 security deposit.
  • Be accepted to DigiPen Institute of Technology and sign your enrollment agreement.

Housing Accommodations

The Disability Support Services (DSS) office and DigiPen Housing, LLC work together to make sure that students with disabilities have equal access to DigiPen's housing resources. Students who wish to request housing accommodations such as a single use restroom, service or therapy animal, and/or a visual alarm should notify the DSS office and DigiPen Housing. It is the responsibility of the student with disabilities to make their housing accommodation request and complete the intake with DSS at least four weeks in advance of the closing of the housing registration process, or as soon as a need for accommodation is determined. On-campus housing is limited; requests for housing accommodations are considered on a space-available basis.

The review of documentation and intake process to determine eligibility for housing accommodations may take up to 4 weeks. The failure to submit a request or to provide the appropriate supporting documentation in a timely manner may result in a delay in implantation of housing accommodations. DigiPen Housing may not be able to accommodate late requests due to limited availability of housing options, even if there is a recommendation from DSS. Please visit the DSS office page for more information on how to become registered with the DSS office by completing the intake appointment and submitted the necessary documentation paperwork.

Required Vaccinations

DigiPen Housing requires residents to submit proof of vaccinations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), and the Tetanus Diptheria booster. The Tetanus-Diptheria booster must have been administered within the last 10 years. Paperwork should be mailed to: DigiPen Institute of Technology, ATTN: Housing Vaccinations, 9931 Willows Rd NE, Redmond WA, 98052, or scanned and emailed to housing[at]digipen[dot]edu by the move-in date.

Based on American College Health Association (ACHA) guidelines, DigiPen Housing also recommends residents be vaccinated against Meningococcal Quadrivalent (A,C,Y,W-135), Polio, Varicella, Pertussis, Human Papillomavirus Vaccine, Tuberculosis (TB), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine-23 valent.
