Policy on the Admission of Students with Disabilities

DigiPen makes no pre-admission inquiry about an applicant's disability. Applicants may share information about their disability on their application for admission, if they choose. DigiPen recognizes the decision to self-identify any disability is a personal one and respects an applicant's decision not to do so.

DigiPen Institute of Technology is committed to providing equal opportunity and access to prospective students with disabilities in completing and submitting an application for admission.

Applicants who experience disability and would like to request accommodations in completing their application for admission, should contact

Reasonable accommodation in the admissions process may include, but is not limited to:

  • Use of print or electronic materials, as needed,
  • Use of auxiliary aids, and/or
  • Assistance in reviewing the application guidelines and criteria.

Contacting the Office of Admissions for disability-related assistance is confidential. Information about an applicant’s disability will be kept private in accordance with federal and state law and will not be shared with admission review committee members.
