October 1

The first day FAFSAs, Renewal FAFSAs, and FAFSAs on the Web can be signed and submitted to the federal processor. DigiPen's Office of Financial Aid will have the Institute's financial aid forms available after this date. Students use the prior year's taxes to complete the FAFSA application and are encouraged to use the Data Retrieval Tool from the IRS to complete the application.

DigiPen's Office of Financial Aid starts to mail acknowledgments for those applications we have received. We also start to mail out requests for information to students with incomplete applications or missing materials.

Tuition balance due for fall semester.

Spring and Summer Months

Our office reviews information we requested from you or new information you provided. Information is reviewed chronologically. We accept applications throughout the year and, depending on the time of year, make awards from two to four weeks after we receive your application. You should apply as soon as you know you need assistance, well in advance of the start of the semester.
