We will be covering how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the admissions process and what we’re doing to adapt financial aid, housing, and student services to address many of the concerns we’ve been hearing. This Online Information Session will include:

  • COVID-19 Impact Session, 10:00 a.m.

    Angela Kugler, Senior Vice President of External Affairs, will open the livestream by informing parents and students about DigiPen’s response to the COVID-19 crisis, which policies have changed as a result, and what to expect from DigiPen for the fall 2020-21 academic year.

  • College Preparation Session, 10:30 a.m.

    Emily Kirby, Director of Admissions, and David Van der Linden, Financial Aid Advisor, will each deliver short presentations introducing admissions and financial aid terminology for first-time college applicants, as well as providing additional information about changes that have resulted from the coronavirus pandemic. A 15-minute admissions/financial aid Q&A period will follow.

  • Student Panel, 11:15 a.m.

    This session will provide a space for prospective students and their parents to ask questions of our current students about their experiences at DigiPen. Hear about DigiPen’s response to the pandemic from a student’s perspective, straight from the source.

  • Optional Housing Breakout Session, 12:00 p.m.

    Resident Assistants will host an overview of housing at DigiPen and field questions about what policies are being implemented to protect students’ health and wellbeing while living in on-campus housing.
