Costs for Fall 2021 - Spring 2022 Housing
Prices are per resident for the entire 8-month academic year, but do not change if a roommate vacates the apartment. Each resident must pay a $300 deposit for their housing application. Once assigned an apartment, deposits are not refunded if an applicant cancels. Deposits are refunded if an applicant defers or if we are unable to place the applicant. See the Apply for Housing page for a complete list of important dates and deadlines for the fall 2021 - spring 2022 housing.
Cost Per Year, Per Person | Configuration | Notes |
---|---|---|
$7,880 | 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 5 residents | The triple bedroom is larger than the double, but all residents pay an equal amount. |
$8,034 | 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 4 residents | |
$8,300 | 2 bedrooms, 1.5/2 bathrooms, 4 residents | This standard room rate also applies to overflow housing and certain DSS accommodations. |
We are pleased to offer the option to buy out your own individual bedroom for privacy and/or convenience. Indicate your ranked preferences on your Housing application if this is of interest to you. Please note that to buy out your bedroom, you must pay for the entire academic year up front, instead of by semester. You will not be given a refund if you decide to leave at any point before the 8-month academic year lease is up. Anyone who buys out their bedspace will be placed in the non-master bedroom. The cost of the buy out is two times the price of a shared bedspace for the academic year:
- 5 resident, 2 bedroom, 2 bath — $15,760 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
- 4 resident, 2 bedroom, 1 bath — $16,068 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
- 4 resident, 2 bedroom, 1.5/2 bath — $16,600 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
