We are pleased to offer the option to buy out your own individual bedroom for privacy and/or convenience. Indicate your ranked preferences on your Housing application if this is of interest to you. You will not be given a refund if you decide to leave at any point before the 8-month academic year lease is up. Anyone who buys out their bedspace will be placed in the non-master bedroom. The cost of the buy out is two times the price of a shared bedspace for the academic year:
- 5 resident, 2 bedroom, 2 bath — $15,760 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
- 5 resident, 3 bedroom, 2 bath — $15,760 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
- 4 resident, 2 bedroom, 1 bath — $16,068 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)
- 4 resident, 2 bedroom, 1.5/2 bath — $16,600 per academic year per person (non-master bedroom)

International Student Early Arrival Housing for Vaccinations
Due to mandatory vaccination requirements, international students’ move-in date will be held two weeks early in order for them to receive the necessary vaccinations and quarantine. The cost for the two-week early arrival is $1,000 and is only an option for students who are also living with us during the Academic Year.
International Student Services and DigiPen Housing will put together a recommended list of vaccinations and also run limited shuttle services to and from the location where the vaccination will be administered. At this time, we only offer double occupancy rooms for early arrival international students. This information will be given in the placements and move-in instructions email that will be sent out between July 19-23.

Instructions for International Student Early Arrival:
Fill out the 2021 Academic Year Housing Application and pay the $300 deposit by June 25.
Email Assistant Dean of International Student Services MinJung Olfert at minjung.olfert[at]digipen[dot]edu indicating that you have submitted your housing application and deposit and plan to utilize the international student early arrival option to get vaccinated.
