General Info

Parking Regulations

DigiPen student parking is reserved from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Reserved student parking spaces become open after 6:00 pm on weekdays, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Parking spaces are identified with a DigiPen insignia. Park only in authorized, marked spaces. Do not park in Visitor, Reserved, or unmarked spots.

Unauthorized parking will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense. Any vehicle parked on campus between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, without a valid permit is in violation and will be towed. Note also that the speed limit in the parking lot is 5 miles per hour.

There are a limited number of parking spaces available. If there are more applications than available parking spaces, assignments will be made based on a lottery system. In the event of a lottery, priority will be given to students who do not have outstanding financial obligations with DigiPen.

Always remember to lock your bike!

ID Access Cards

Badge Policies and Procedures

DigiPen is a closed campus facility that requires the use of ID access card technology. The security system enables the administration to set the parameters for student access. With this system the institute is able to access, track, and log the movement of students, faculty, and staff within the building.

Access card readers are the square black devices located at the entrance to all areas.

Your ID card must be visible when on campus. If your badge does not gain you entrance to an area to which you should have access or if a door that you think you should be able to unlock does not let you in, please report it to Facilities. Classroom card readers are for access control only, and do not record attendance.

Student access

Weekly student access to DigiPen's campus is from 8:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight), Monday through Friday, and from 12:00 pm (noon) to 8:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
